Homage to our departed comrade Jean-Paul Picot

Our dear comrade Jean-Paul Picot died on November 24, 2013. He was a faithful and devoted member of the Federation, a generous and charismatic friend and was loved by all, who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife Monique, his brother Robert, his sons François and Yves, his grandchildren Xander, Olivier and Christian.
Jean-Paul served in the French Army from 1960 to 1962 and was posted to Tunisia in time of conflict. He received the Combattant’s Cross for African Campaigns Medals and was awarded the Knight’s Cross in the Legion of Honor in 2007.
A wake was held at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on November 26 and a mass was celebrated in his memory at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church on December 7, 2013, his birthday.
The Federation’s Color Guard was present at both events.
