Mass and luncheon November 2016/Messe et banquet de novembre 2016

Following a long tradition of the Federation we meet every year on the Sunday closest to November 11 to attend mass and repair for lunch. This year mass was celebrated on nNovember 6th at the church of Notre Dame by our chaplain Msgr. John Paddack.
Our sincere thanks go to Monique Picot and Yves Picot who hosted us at La Bonne Soupe for a superb lunch.
Alain Dupuis, President, Mme Françoise Cestac, Special Advisor, Joseph Crouzilhat, 2st VP, Paul Garabedian, Secretary, Henri Dubarry, Treasurer, Dr Pierre Van Bockstaele, Isabelle VasnBockstaele, Maurice Figuères, Michel Dumerchat, Pierre Martinez, Michel Boulard and Daniel Falgerho, 2nd VP were present along with a good number of our faithful friends. Jacques Letalon, band leader of the Cadets La fayette and his young student Mathieu performed “La Sonnerie Aux Morts” – the French equivalent of “Taps”
The Consul General was represented by Mme Hélène Ringot, Vice Consul and head of Social Services at the Consulate.
Msgr John Paddack, Father Michael Halloran, Serge Gabriel, Patrick du Tertre, President of the Association of French Reserve Officers in the US, Jean Lachaud, President of the American Society of Le Souvenir Français were in attendance.
Isabelle VanBockstaele interpreted of the national anthems and presented Monique Picot with a beautiful portrait she painted of our regretted comrade Jean-Paul Picot who founded La Boone Soupe in 1973.
